Library Work with Children and Young Adults ( T L 3260 )
This is a methods course for pre-service and inservice students who are currently working in public library Childrens' and Young Adults' Services, or in a school library. The collection, reference and resources, programming, and administration and management are considered as are copyright law and intellectual freedom. This course meets the "Foundations of Library Media Programs" requirement of the Utah Library Media Endorsement.
Prerequisite: Access to a library and access to a child or children is required.
Class Note: Educators considering this course for professional development/licensing purposes are strongly advised to consult with their state office of education licensing department prior to enrolling in this course.
